Protect Our Paradise: Punta Cana Beach Cleanup

Over the years, we’ve met so many amazing guests and expats who have shared their love for Punta Cana — and one thing has come up again and again: the desire to give back and help keep our beaches clean. This is our chance to make it happen!

Join Coastline Catamarans on WEDNESDAY, February 10TH, 2027, from. APPROX. 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. We’ll start by cleaning the entrance and beach near JELLYFISH and then sail over to the private beach, clean the shore while enjoying cocktails, and then relax and refresh in the natural pool — all in the company of friends and fellow community members.

$15.00 per spot – limited to 50 participants

Protect Our Paradise: Our 2026 Beach Cleanup:

All it takes is a wavy day and the wind in the right direction, and our local beaches can quickly end up covered in debris. This year, at the beginning of 2026, Coastline Catamarans launched our first annual beach cleanup under the initiative “Protect Our Paradise” in Cabeza de Toro, a private stretch of beach that doesn’t have a dedicated team to care for it.

Over time, trash accumulates... from small items like masks, napkins, and cups to larger objects like floats, tubes, baskets, and even old chairs. As a catamaran company, we’re not blind to the fact that we contribute to this problem... even unintentionally. A flyaway cup, a napkin in the wind, or a small item lost on the water can eventually end up on the shore. It’s a reminder that keeping beaches clean is a shared responsibility, and every effort counts.

A BIG THANK YOU: to over 30 amazing volunteers who joined Protect Our Paradise, we made a real impact. Many of our volunteers are snowbirds, which makes their dedication even more remarkable. Together, we tackled the brush, the shoreline, and the hidden corners where trash had been collecting for months. By the end of the day, more than 80 LARGE bags of garbage were removed, along with all those larger items that wouldn’t have been possible to handle alone.

Even with such a big effort, it can feel discouraging; The beach looked pristine, and yet it only took one off day for new debris to appear. This is why we’ve learned that this isn’t a one-time fix... t’s about keeping up. And it’s clear that with a dedicated team like ours, we can continue making a difference year after year.

After the cleanup, it was wonderful to see everyone relaxing, enjoying food and drinks, and celebrating the collective effort.

The sense of community was incredible, and the feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive.

We couldn’t have done this without each and every one of you. Your willingness to give your time and energy not only cleaned up this private stretch of beach but also set a standard for caring for our local environment. Coastline Catamarans is proud to continue Protect Our Paradise, and we can’t wait to see you back next year as we keep this beach and our community, healthy and thriving.
